California Bluebell is native to the deserts of California. Its blooms are a vibrant cobalt blue, and it works very well as a cut flower. Darkness and shade help California Bluebell seed germination. The soil composition can be sandy and still support active growth. This flower may be started indoors, but only if it is provided temperatures between 50° and 55° F.
