Deer Mix

Our Deer Mix is a combination of Buckwheat and Oats that will provide nutritional supplementation for deer where foraging options are limited or greater wildlife traffic is desired.  Where ecosystems produce enough natural forage material to meet the animal’s nutritional needs, the green forage food plot this mix produces will still draw grazing browsers into the area.  Antler development requires a substantial amount of protein, phosphorous and calcium intake.  Supplementing or increasing the options available during the growing season for bucks, as well as pregnant or lactating does, will provide for a healthier group of animals.
