Tidy Tips

Tidy Tips is a flower that is native to the western United States.  It is a member of the sunflower family but performs best in regions where summers are cooler.  This flower does not like hot or humid areas.  Tidy Tips can be planted in a wide range of soil compositions, as long as the soils are well-drained.  Seeds can be planted in the fall or spring in cooler climates around the US, but only in the fall planted where the climates are warmer.  Tidy Tips can be started indoors if it is transplanted when it’s still small, but this flower does best if it is planted outdoors.  Tidy Tips provides a good cut flower and makes an excellent border.
