Timothy
Timothy is a pasture grass that is able to grow at high elevations. It is a perennial grass that can also be used as erosion control. Timothy is easy to establish and easy to handle for hay.
Seeding rate is 3 lbs per acre if seeding with a seed drill in rows. If broadcasting by hand or with a broadcast spreader you will need 2 to 2.5 times more seed which would be 6-8.5 lbs per acre.
